The action in the court below was one at law by the receiver of the National Bank of Kentucky, an insolvent national bank, to recover statutory double liability duly assessed against the receiver of the Banco Kentucky Company, a Delaware corporation. A jury was waived, and the case was tried to the court. Recovery was had for the full amount of the assessment.
