These three libels arise out of a collision that occurred on the Mississippi river on December 18, 1928, between the towboat Illinois, a vessel owned by the United States and operated by the Inland Waterways Corporation, and certain floating equipment belonging to the Missouri Valley Bridge & Iron Company. As the facts involved in each case are identical, the libels were consolidated for the purpose of trial, and accordingly may be disposed...
