This is the ordinary suit for the infringement of a patent, issued on December 11, 1928, to Elmer K. Cole, No. 1,694,683. The subject of the invention is a shackle for holding the end of a metal cable, made up of three strands of twisted wire, of the kind which has now become very common as a guard on highways.
