On August 29, 1932, at about 10 o'clock a. m., a Dodge sedan belonging to and driven by H. Elsa Hartfeil collided with a Chevrolet coupé owned and driven by Arthur F. Mehrstedt. Miss Hartfeil was seriously injured, and she brought this action against Mehrstedt, Standard Historical Society, Inc., and P. F. Collier & Son Company, alleging that the accident and her injuries were due to the negligence of Mehrstedt and that at the time...
