This appeal is from a judgment dismissing a complaint upon a directed verdict in favor of appellee in an action brought by appellant to recover the sum of $25,000 alleged to be due for services rendered under an oral contract according to the terms of which appellant claimed that he was to be entitled to the compensation if he secured the reduction of the purchase price of a certain tract of timber land from $1,000,000 to $800,000.
