This is an appeal from a judgment for the sum of $8,663.88 for the conversion of 563,833 pounds of wheat. The plaintiffs and appellees are the mortgagees in the chattel mortgage given by A. E. Bott and his wife on a growing crop of wheat on certain lands in Teton county, Idaho, described in the chattel mortgage which was duly recorded in the office of the county recorder of that county. The wheat was harvested and put into bags by the mortgagor...
