This is an appeal from an order of the District Court for the District of New Jersey dismissing a libel for the forfeiture of the gas screw Julia Davis. The vessel was seized by officers of the United States Coast Guard at the Two Mile Beach Fish Wharf at Wildwood, N. J., with a cargo on board of 592 sacks of various brands of intoxicating liquor of foreign origin. The Julia Davis was licensed for fishing only. The libel prayed for forfeiture...
