On involuntary petition in bankruptcy the respondent Harley Carter defended, amongst other grounds, upon a denial that one of the three petitioners, namely, Cora A. McClain, had a claim against him provable in bankruptcy. The issue was submitted with others to a jury which returned a verdict of guilty, and adjudication was made.
