Seven hundred and eighty-five hogsheads of tobacco were shipped from Kentucky to New Orleans by barges of Inland Waterways Corporation, a common carrier, to be delivered to a vessel sailing for Danzig, also a common carrier. Standard Commercial Tobacco Company, having contracted to buy the tobacco, paid for it while en route to New Orleans and contracted to resell it before it reached Danzig, but it being found damaged on arrival there, delivered...
