The alien entered this country in 1905. Such entry was legal. In 1906 he returned to Italy and remained there until 1923, when he entered the United States from Mexico in transit to Canada. From Canada he reentered the United States on July 16, 1923. Concededly this last entrance was illegal. In October, 1927, he applied for and obtained a re-entry permit. He thereupon went to Italy and returned to the United States on May 22, 1928. He resided...
