The libelant entered into a written contract with Hvalfangeraktieselskapet Rosshavet, a Norwegian company which for convenience will be called Rosshavet, on May 5, 1928, to purchase the entire production of the whale oil factory ship Sir James Clark Ross for the season of 1928-29.
