An interference was declared in the United States Patent Office between the application for patent of the appellant, Henry L. Doherty, filed February 24, 1920, and a patent to the appellee, Carbon P. Dubbs, No. 1,628,236, application for which was filed October 8, 1921.

The subject-matter of the interference is an improvement in process and apparatus for oil cracking. As originally framed, the interference consisted of four counts...
