This is a suit upon a policy of war risk insurance, to which the government has filed a plea of the statute of limitations.

The statute as amended July 3, 1930 (U. S. C. title 38, § 445 [38 USCA § 445]), provides that no such suit shall be allowed unless brought within six years after the right under the policy accrued, or within one year after July 3, 1930, whichever is the later date.
