James T. Graham enlisted in the military service of the United States on May 28, 1918. He was honorably discharged on June 17, 1919. He re-enlisted on July 8, 1919, and was again honorably discharged on July 7, 1920. During the period of his first enlistment he applied for and was granted war risk insurance under the Act of Congress of October 6, 1917 (40 Stat. 398), in the sum of $10,000.
