A petition for a writ of habeas corpus has been presented to me as one of the judges of the Circuit Court of Appeals of the Eighth Circuit, in which it is claimed that petitioner has been deprived of his liberty by the state of Iowa without due process of law, in violation of the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution.
