This suit was brought against the Pennsylvania Railroad Company under the Federal Employers' Liability Act (45 USCA §§ 51-59) and the Safety Appliance Act (45 USCA § 1 et seq.) to recover damages for personal injuries to the plaintiff, a brakeman employed by the Crucible Steel Company, upon the claim that, at the time of the accident, he was engaged in performing duties of the Railroad Company which could not be delegated.
