STONE, Circuit Judge.

Appellee herein brought an action against these appellants for infringement of letters patent No. 1,586,764, issued to Wheaton, covering a base exchange process and product for softening hard water. The defense was invalidity of the patent and noninfringement. The trial court sustained the patent with a very narrow scope, and found no infringement. On appeal to this court [36 F.2d 673] that decree was reversed...
