Appellee, who is a citizen of Germany, brought to the United States in 1926 a collection of approximately 3,000 incunabula (books printed before A. D. 1500) and exhibited them at the Eucharistic Congress in Chicago and thereafter at various exhibitions during the years 1926, 1927, and 1928.
