This action was brought by Dinkler Hotels Company, Inc., against W. R. Barringer on three promissory notes, aggregating $8,057.38, executed by him at Atlanta, Ga., on July 28, 1930, and payable with interest at 6 per cent. in that city to E. S. Richardson, as follows: One for $3,057.38, on January 15, 1931; one for $3,000, on February 15, 1931; and one for $2,000, on February 15, 1931. The notes were indorsed by the payee.
