On January 15, 1931, one Phillip Spallo was indicted by the grand jury in this district for the unlawful transportation for beverage purposes of four pints of whisky in a Ford coach automobile, motor No. A-3059124. On the 30th day of January, 1931, he entered a plea of guilty to that charge and was sentenced to the payment of a fine.
