This is an action instituted by the plaintiff against the defendant as collector of internal revenue, and after alleging the jurisdictional facts, the petition states that in the year 1926, the Commissioner of Internal Revenue assessed, and on April 27, 1927, collected from the plaintiff as additional income tax to the government of the United States upon the plaintiff's income for the year 1920, the sum of $11,425.04, and as interest thereon...
