On November 21, 1929, at approximately 6 a. m., about the break of day, the Border King and the steamship Donau collided in the waters of Puget Sound off Marrowstone. The Border King was entering the Puget Sound from Vancouver, and the Donau was outgoing from the port of Seattle.
