On January 14, 1931, R. M. Sanders gave the First National Bank of Jackson, Miss., a check for $1,134.06, drawn by one R. W. Manning on the Merchants' & Planters' Bank of Drew, Miss. The check was payable to the order of R. M. Sanders, and indorsed by him. He told the president of the bank, J. B.
