This is a suit brought under section 4915 Rev. St. (35 USCA § 63), to require the issuance of a patent, which has been refused by the Commissioner, on a divided rear bumper for automobiles, consisting of what are commonly known as bumperettes; that is, a rear bumper which does not extend entirely across the width of the automobile, but is constructed in two sections, each one of which extends only from one side of the frame of the chassis...
