This is an appeal from a decree of the District Court for Maine dismissing an involuntary petition in bankruptcy. The ground assigned by the court was that it deemed "it for the best interest of creditors."

The involuntary petition was filed April 10, 1930, seeking to have the North Eastern Shoe Company, Inc., decreed a bankrupt. In the petition it was alleged that the respondent, for the greater portion of six months next preceding...
