On July 28, 1926, the Grand Rapids Trust Company was appointed in this court as receiver of the interurban electric railway known as the Grand Rapids, Grand Haven & Muskegon Railway Company. It was then operating about 46 miles of railroad between the cities of Grand Rapids and Muskegon, including a branch line to Grand Haven. This is an ancillary proceeding brought by the receiver to recover from the United Light & Power Company payments...
