This is an action in which the appellee, a minor, brought suit against the appellant to recover damages for personal injuries. The parties will be referred to as they appeared in the lower court.

At the time of receiving his injuries, the plaintiff was a boy about six years old, attending the public schools in East St. Louis, Ill. The schoolhouse at which he was attending was located on the south side of what is referred to as Bond...
