This suit is brought by the libelant to recover damages alleged to have been caused to its Barge No. 1, by the steamship Brazilier coming into contact with said barge, in Texas City channel.

It is to be noted that the libelant did not proceed against the tug Anita, which had the Barge No. 1 in tow at the time in question, and it was not until after the first trial that it was learned that the tug Anita was owned by the libelant at...
