The petition alleges that plaintiff is a corporation, and that it paid income and excess profits taxes for the fiscal year ending May 31, 1920, in the amount of $143,493.45. It is further alleged that on February 21, 1924, plaintiff filed a claim for refund, the material part of which is hereinafter set out.
