Both parties are manufacturers of looseleaf devices, including loose-leaf binders of the ring type, in which the leaves are held in the binder by means of rings that are capable of being opened and closed and extend, when closed, through perforations in the marginal edges of the leaves. The patent in suit relates to a loose-leaf binder of the ring type, but the particular claims in litigation, claims 6, 7, and 8, have to do only with the cover...
