This case presents a controversy as to the ownership of certain mining claims in which plaintiffs and interveners assert to be entitled in accordance with their respective proportionate interests of an undivided 4/21 interest in plaintiffs and 2/3 interest in interveners.

At the outset the jurisdiction of the court is questioned by defendants, who urge that the mining claims in controversy do not exceed the value of $3,000 as required...
