Relator, a native of Sweden, first arrived in the United States in the spring of 1915, as a seaman on the steamship Crown Prince Gustav, deserted the ship on arrival, and within three days thereafter shipped on a Norwegian vessel for Rotterdam. He again arrived in the United States at New York in March, 1923, as a seaman, and was paid off.
