An appeal from the decision of the District Court ordering the forfeiture of the vessel Cretan, and her cargo consisting of 787 drums containing 82,635 gallons of alcohol, 15 bottles of assorted liquors, and 500 bales of waste paper. The essential facts are as follows: One Carl Pustau of New York in June, 1926, purchased the Cretan, which was formerly a passenger steamer; and on June 4, 1926, enrolled her at Baltimore and obtained a license...
