Appellee brought this action to recover upon a life insurance policy issued by appellant to her deceased husband. Appellant relied on two defenses: (a) The policy was lapsed long prior to the death of the insured; and (b) no claim for loss was made until six years after the death of the insured.

The policy was issued August 20, 1907. The last premium was paid August 20, 1913. The insured died in May, 1921. In May, 1927, appellee...
