This case arose in a state court in the state of Minnesota, but, by reason of its being a suit against a federal receiver, it was removed to the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. The action was for personal injuries received while riding on a free pass from Minneapolis to the station of Wood Lake, all in the state of Minnesota.
