The proofs in this case show that William S. Rader, the plaintiff, had been employed as a freight locomotive engineer for 35 years. In a collision on March 22, 1926, he was burned about the head, arms, legs, and body, and was taken to a hospital, where he remained in bed one day. He was discharged from the hospital on March 31st.
