In September, 1923, John W. Burton, a citizen of Arkansas, filed his bill in equity in the court below against four individuals, citizens of Louisiana, and the Marine Oil & Refining Company, a Louisiana corporation, herein called the Marine Company. The bill, after being amended several times, contained allegations to the following effect:
