This is a suit in equity to enjoin the alleged infringement of United States patent No. 1,000,293, of August 8, 1911, issued to George H. Robinson as assignor, on packing for piston rods. The object of the patentee was to furnish packing having a fluid-tight joint, one easily constructed and capable of conforming to the shape of the piston rod with which it was used.
