Plaintiffs in error, Abraham, Nathan, and Ike Gerson, hereafter designated as defendants, were tried and convicted upon an indictment charging them and others with conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States by concealing from the trustee in bankruptcy certain merchandise and cash of the estate of Abraham Gerson. Sentences of two years in the penitentiary and a $1,000 fine were imposed as to each. The case was dismissed as to defendants...
