On May 29, 1927, at about half past 10 o'clock in the evening, the claimant's auxiliary schooner Orion, proceeding westerly, came into collision with libelant's scow No. 37, near the easterly entrance of the Cape Cod Canal. The scow was made fast, outside the libelant's scow No. 40, to two dolphins at the westerly end of the line of dolphins near the entrance, and on the northerly side of the canal.
