The above-entitled petition is before the court upon the demurrer of the United States, in which it is averred that the petition and the matters contained therein are not sufficient in law to entitle the petitioner to recover in these proceedings. The petition is brought under Judicial Code, § 24 (20) as amended (28 USCA § 41), to recover an additional income and profit tax assessed upon the 1918 income, amounting to $18,274.43...
