Morris Chaplin and Charles Chaplin, brothers, plaintiffs in error and defendants in the lower court, were indicted on the 17th of March, 1927, for violation of the provisions of the Bankruptcy Act of 1898 (11 USCA), in that they knowingly and fraudulently concealed from their trustee in bankruptcy assets belonging to their bankrupt estates.
