BUFFINGTON, Circuit Judge.

In the court below the Murray Spring Company, owner of patent No. 1,172,724, granted February 22, 1916, to the Murrays for a spring seat, charged the Ft. Pitt Bedding Company with infringement thereof. On final hearing that court held the patent invalid, and from a decree dismissing the bill this appeal was taken.

The patent concerns a small, removable, unitary, self-contained, unattached spring seat, adapted to be used in automobiles...
