In November, 1924, J. W. Ross, Thos. B. Carroll, and James L. Lamping took out a policy of life insurance for $50,000, payable to "the survivor or survivors of any of the insured"; the insured being specified as "any one of Thomas B. Carroll, James L. Lamping, or John William Ross." Separate applications for the policy were made and signed by each of the insured. Some question arising as to the beneficial interest of the insured in each other...
