The plaintiff herein is suing to recover the unpaid interest represented by coupons on certain bonds of road district No. 4 of Shelby county, Texas. These bonds — bearing numbers from 220 to 235, inclusive — are a portion of a series of bonds amounting to $300,000, each for the sum of $1,000, issued in August, 1919.
