This is an action by the United States, on behalf of Lee Perry, a five-eighths blood Chickasaw Indian, against Mattie Hass. F. D. Hass, her husband, was made a party defendant on motion of Mattie Hass (and others, who defaulted, evidently not considering themselves affected by the decree), to cancel and declare void certain deeds of conveyance, mortgages, and leases to 40 acres of land, and to cancel and set aside a decree of the District...
