This was an action brought by one Oscar Sandin (defendant in error) against Hammond Lumber Company, a corporation (plaintiff in error), to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by him while working as a stevedore stowing lumber on a vessel owned by said corporation which was being loaded at the port of Vancouver, Wash.
