This action of tort was brought in the superior court for Suffolk county on December 16, 1920, by the plaintiff's decedent, David J. Redmond, an employee of the defendant, to recover for personal injuries alleged to have been caused Redmond by the defendant's negligence in furnishing him with an improper and unsafe tool and appliance with which to work. The defendant removed the case to the court below.
