On the 18th day of March, 1922, Eda M. Ballard, who was then the owner of the Franceda Cafeteria, executed a chattel mortgage to D. L. Jackson, trustee, to secure the payment of $928.75, covering wages due from mortgagor to Theresa Stark, Blanch Fought, Mary Diller, Mary Resh, D. L.
