John Rademaker, plaintiff, brought an action at law, under section 33 of the Merchant Marine Act of 1920, 41 Stat. 1007 (Comp. St. § 8337a), to recover damages for a personal injury sustained by him while he was employed as a seaman on the American schooner Resolute.
